What language shall I borrow?

Choosing the best words for worship is challenging. When leading seeker services, how do we choose words that the unchurched can understand? What type of language is appropriate for intergenerational worship? How can we avoid Christian jargon without dumbing down? What language should we use for God? And what language can we use in order to be appropriately inclusive of all genders, ethnicities and disabilities? If we are sensitive towards one group, we are likely to be sensitive to others who can find themselves on the margins of the church. When actions speak louder than words, how is our choice of language matched by our attitudes and actions in worship?
