Please can we have a pet service? A new mission opportunity?
Keynote Speaker:
Coryn Stanforth
with Kristi Elliott
This was one of the first questions put to Coryn when she arrived as rector in her group of rural Norfolk villages. This has led to some fascinating research into pets services, the social connection between pets and their owners, and changing attitudes within our culture.
This event will explore the role of ‘pet parents’, companion animals, and why we might want to celebrate them in a church service. There will be a good mix of theology and practical advice on planning a pet service, where to find resources, and all the other considerations to be born in mind.
Cost: £5.00 for TW members; £10.00 for non-members
